I got a Brazilian wax and lord knows I was nervous. Madeline was a complete delight. She made me feel comfortable and was very professional. I highly recommend her if it’s your first time. It wasn’t as painful as I thought it would be. She guided me through the whole process. 5 stars all around.

Just went to The Wax Room for my first time ever and met the coolest woman ever! Madeleine was extremely knowledgeable and personable as well. She made my brows look AMAZING and I didn’t feel any pain from the waxing. I was even given a little goody bag on the way out! 10/10 would recommend to everyone and their mom. I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place I got a Brazilian, under arm wax and half a leg wax I’m one sitting. The owner was accommodating, gentle, respectful, efficient and my entire experience was a delight. I experience no pain at all I was literally handled with care. I made an appointment for a Saturday at 10am. At 10:10am I got a call from the owner Madeline asking if I was still coming to my appointment. I was out running errands and had totally forgot, I felt horrible but she was so kind and I was close so I was able to get there before her next appointment. She was waiting for me in the salon, greeted me, and took me back to her studio. Madeline is amazing! She’s so personable and professional. We had a great talk about how she came to have this business and why she loves what she does. We talked about how amazing it feels to get the hair out of your nose and how you could never get hair out of your ears with one those micro trimmers. She even applied calming balm to my ears which the other place back home in Hartford doesn’t do. She said she didn’t want me walking around with red ears and then saying I just got waxed at her business having people think she didn’t do a complete job!
